Errol is one of the UK’s most compelling, contemporary musical voices: DJ, NTS Radio staple, music curator and founder of forward-thinking musical movement, Touching Bass. 

As a DJ, he’s known for his beautifully loose, searching and soulful sets; unrestricted by genre and anchored by groove. He enters 2025 in top form, both on his London home turf (fresh from his sold out five-week residency at The Carpet Shop and Corsica Studios and being included in The Face Magazine’s New Guard: a list of the UK’s 50 most influential individuals shaping the future of nightlife in the city). Or further afield where he’s taken to five continents alongside partner, Alex Rita: from moments at Panorama Bar, Horst, Fabric, Kenya’s Beneath The Baobabs and several NYC dates to multiple tours of Asia and Oceania.

Along the way, there have also been wheel-ups on King Jammy’s legendary dancehall soundsystem in Kingston, as well as warm-up slots for the likes of Erykah Badu, Tony Allen (RIP), Flying Lotus and Yussef Dayes. 

At the helm of Touching Bass, he has steadily established one of London’s most important musical incubators alongside his partner, Alex Rita. For the past eight years, it has quietly gained cult status for its intention, community spirit and musical eclecticism. More than a South London-based club night, NTS Radio staple, award-nominated record label, concert series at The Barbican and curatorial studio, Touching Bass has slow-cooked to become a meeting ground for music lovers and a respectable home for artists; both contemporary and legendary, local and internationally known.

Errol considers himself a music curator at heart. As host and music programmer for Boiler Room, he played a pivotal role in bringing some of the world’s best live and DJ acts to the fore. From spearheading the UK jazz explosion in its early stages (Yussef Kamaal, Nubya Garcia, KOKOROKO) to collaborating with Saul Williams across London, New York and Miami (including an appearance from Yasiin Bey) and introducing the likes of Khruangbin, Anderson Paak, Mala, Nick Hakim and many more to millions online.
