GOYA GUMBANI

Musician

Born in Brooklyn, raised in South London, Goya fuses the storytelling of New York Boom-Bap with the vibrant energy of the London jazz scene. His relocation to London in his teens opened a new world of possibilities, quickly immersing him in the city’s buoyant jazz community. Beyond his prolific run of EPs and mixtapes, Goya has become a tastemaker with his acclaimed NTS show Chicken Foot Soup, and a dynamic performer—having just shared the stage with billy woods at Pitchfork Music Festival London. With a much-loved COLORS session and collaborations with fashion heavyweights like Virgil Abloh (Louis Vuitton), Nicholas Daley, and Bianca Saunders, he has become a vital voice at the intersection of music and culture. Despite his transatlantic roots, his work stays deeply rooted in the decorated lineage of NYC Hip-Hop, standing out for his evocative and boldly vulnerable lyricism.
