2 YEARS of Heavy Feelings w/ Kabul Fire Records
COLOGNE! Heavy Feelings returns on September 13th with a curated lineup in collaboration with Hamburg-based label Kabul Fire Records, founded by FARHOT. We’re thrilled to finally bring you some of the finest names in the country for an eclectic mix of producers, vocalists, and DJs at King Georg, as we celebrate our 2nd ANNIVERSARY with you! Yes, you heard that right.
Coming straight from Hamburg: Vietnamese-German producer QU and Afghan-German producer AGAJON are two of the finest talents in the music scene, blending elements of global hip-hop traditions, neo-soul, and urban jazz. Closely collaborating on their productions, they stand out as artists who resist the global trend of mass-produced mainstream sounds.
On top of that, we’re delighted to have Ninja Kidsoul on the mic, one of the few artists in Germany who has managed to inspire music lovers of all kinds over the years. Born in Schweinfurt to an American father and a German mother, Ninja Kidsoul is a rising star in the world of neo-soul and hip-hop. Known for his rare appearances, consistent authenticity, and uncompromising artistry, he is truly a unique voice.
We’re also excited to welcome London-based R&B artist Josh Kye, who enchants with his soulful vocals and captivating storytelling.
All these artists can be heard on QU’s newly released debut album „where did the sun go“, embodying the collective vision of a label that not only serves as a platform but also fosters creative exchange and synergies at the highest level among various artists.
The night will be musically supported by Parissa Charghi, founder of Heavy Feelings, and Jenni Rae from GG VYBE.
